Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect, the staff are friendly, warm and helpful and Chef's food was wonderful. We had a wonderful week long stay at Kalukanda House. A perfect place to do as much or as little as you want to. The house is perfectly set in lush gardens with plenty of outside space, including a lovely pool. The inside spaces are so well designed with a simplicity and style that you don't often find. 5 stars all round. I had a wonderful stay at Kalukandra house- a real gem. A beautifully designed boutique hotel built in a traditional Sri Lankan style. My days started with yoga (connected to the house), superb breakfasts, lounging by the pool or a 5 minute walk to fantastic beach(great for sunsets too) The staff were always on hand providing a great service with a smile…and the food - to die for ! Nearest airport Colombo. We are 2 hours south of Bandaranaike Airport by car, on the highway and then along the coast road from Galle to Weligama. Our car will collect you and bring you to the hotel, please let us know on booking whether you require this service.
